The Reef Kite and Surf is located at Sandy Beach in Vieux Fort in the south of St Lucia. Locally owned and managed, The Reef has been running since 1994. Nowadays, we offer windsurfing, kitesurfing (including hydrofoil), wingsurfing, stand-up paddle boarding, sit-on-top kayaks, and hobie cat sailing. Sandy Beach is a reef-enclosed bay with steady, cross-shore winds from the left and chop & hop conditions. It is one of the best wind and kitesurfing locations in the Eastern Caribbean but still a new discovery for a lot of people, so there's loads of space on the water. It is a really safe spot, as the beach curves gently into the wind on the far downwind end of the bay, so if anything happens (and the safety boat doesn't get there first), you always end up back on the beach.
