Legal Aid Service of Broward County provides free civil legal services to low-income and otherwise eligible residents of Broward County, Florida. Our mission is to provide high quality free civil legal advice, representation, and education to the disadvantaged of Broward County, so as to improve the lifestyle and living conditions in low-income communities and encourage self-sufficiency.

We provide assistance in the following areas of civil law:
Children & Education (Juvenile justice and civil welfare, Victims of abuse, neglect, abandonment; Custody, Guardianship, and Adoptions);
Community Development (Stronger communities, Non-profits servicing LMI areas, Small LMI businesses);
Consumer Rights (Advice and representation regarding civil legal issues stemming from debt, Education and pro se assistance);
HIV Law Project - Ryan White (Advance Directives, Estate Planning; Public Benefits; Discrimination Consultation);
Homeless Legal Rights (Public Benefits, Family Law, Civil Rights); Housing (Public & Subsidized Housing; Eviction, Forclosure, Disputes; Tenant Rights, Illegal Lockout);
Immigration (Immigration advice and representation; Victims of crime, domestic violence, trafficking; Abused or neglect of immigrant children);
Low-Income Tax Payer (Audits, Examinations, Appeals; Collections, Lien, Levy; Notices, Claims, Income Credits);
