With today’s technology, the snap of any shutter can result in a pretty picture. But creating images that capture my clients’ authentic presence isn’t about technical skill as much as it is about human connection.

I am a storyteller first and foremost. Before I became a photographer, I spent 17 years as the owner of a PR & marketing firm, telling my clients’ stories and getting them covered by high-profile media outlets including The Today Show, Oprah, The Wall St Journal, and USA Today, among others. My job then – as it is now – is to identify and focus on what made my clients unique enough to stand out from the crowd.

Today, my trusty Nikon is my tool of choice for telling stories — stories which I’ve studied and crafted prior to each session so I can create photos that stand out, grab attention and even inspire.

I laugh a lot. I work a little too much. And I love creating a safe, relaxing and FUN experience for people who are not accustomed to being in front of the lens.
