Why The Safe Space Alliance?
Safe space isn't a label we adopted for a directory, it's work I already do. I serve on the board of the Rural Rainbow Coalition (formerly the Mid-Willamette Trans Support Network) and as Associate Director of Corvallis Pride. That work shapes how Kate Woods Executive Solutions operates day to day: we serve diverse-owned micro- and small businesses, including womxn-, BIPOC-, and LGBTQ+-owned founders, and our intake, policies, and communications are built so LGBTQ+ clients, teams, and partners are welcomed as they are. We build businesses with our clients, teach them to run them, and stay in their corner and everyone is welcome in that corner.
