A Gay-Latino owned small business, Island City Massage is an elegant massage studio located in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina. Our mission is to inspire people to engage with their physical and mental health through top-quality massage therapy. All treatments are a simple rate of $99hour to include Deep Tissue, Hot Stones and Sports Massage.

Beyond individual session, our on-site massage demonstrations have become a must-have at private events such as self-care parties, sport tournaments, speaking engagements and other special occasions.

Insurance does not cover massage in North Carolina. However, Therapeutic Massage qualifies as a medical expense when applied towards your FSA/HSA. Many people take advantage of Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSA), or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), deferring a portion of their salary tax-free to cover additional healthcare expenses.  Uses have included co-payments, deductibles, transportation, and many other medical expenses.
