HouseYourMind Counselling & Psychology is an affirming counselling practice based in downtown Edmonton, offering in-person and virtual therapy (across Canada) for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC clients, immigrants, and people navigating anxiety, relationships, identity, ADHD, burnout, and life transitions. Services are available in English and Mandarin.
The clinic works closely with 2SLGBTQIA+ clients who are exploring self-identity, relationship concerns, body dysphoria, and patterns related to sexual behaviour. This may include support around monogamous, non-monogamous, and other relationship structures, as well as experiences of stigma, exclusion, or invalidation both within and outside 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
Therapy at HouseYourMind is collaborative, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and sex-positive, and kink-affirming. Rather than treating these experiences as separate from mental health, the work honours how sexuality, culture, family expectations, relationships, and broader social or political climates can shape a person’s sense of safety, belonging, and self-understanding.
In our work together, I offer an open space where clients can slow down, make sense of their experiences at their own pace, and explore their stories in a way that feels respectful, grounded, and true to who they are.
