Embark Center for Self-Directed Education

Embark Center for Self-Directed Education is a youth-run, democraticmicroschool where kids and teens create their own individual and community learning experiences. We support young people who seek a safe space to unmask, be themselves, grow, and learn in a way that suits their own individual timeline — instead of having to conform to a mainstream system of education that might feel isolating and oppressive. Embark Center actively promotes diversity and champions LGBTQIA+ rights, creating an inclusive environment that allows individuals to pursue education on their own terms.
