The Bread of Life Cafe is a social justice cafe located in Bowmanville. It is run out of St. Paul’s United Church in Bowmanville. We have a pay it forward program in place for anyone unable to afford a meal, they simply take a photo off the bulletin board and exchange it for a meal with the cashier. This cafe is intended to be a safe space for all, but primarily to help those dealing with food insecurity and homelessness in our community.
For those who can afford a meal, it functions as a regular cafe. We have lots of tasty options! And we look forward to serving you!
