The River Hills Motel is a simple motel with straightforward amenities and clean, comfortable rooms. Our property was built in the 1970s and maintains its classic character. We are situated on the Ahnapee River in beautiful Algoma steps from the downtown core and Crescent Beach on Lake Michigan. The River Hills Motel is the ideal outpost for a fishing weekend or a family vacation to discover Algoma and its surrounding natural wonders.
We offer modern conveniences in each room including complimentary high speed WiFi, a Keurig machine with premium coffee, refrigerator, microwave, flat screen television, and cable with a premium channel package.
Upon an ownership change in late 2020, we began what will be an extensive series of improvements to The River Hills Motel. As of today our signature rooms have been completely refreshed with new furniture, 4-star quality linens, fixtures and appliances. Our classic single, double and triple rooms have been updated with the same speedy WiFi connection, Keurig and premium amenities program as our signature rooms. These classic rooms maintain their original character, offering incredible value for the area.
