Queer Girl’s Pantry for Kids is a queer-led, community-based mutual aid pantry dedicated to providing accessible, affirming support for children, families, and transitional youth in Tucson, Arizona. We offer grab-and-go meals, shelf-stable groceries, and weekend meal kits through our new “Pantry Pals” program—all from a converted camper in our driveway.
Our space is inclusive, anti-racist, anti-MAGA, and LGBTQ+ affirming. We operate with no forms, no ID checks, and no judgment—just trust and care. While we primarily serve youth and families, we are known for creating a warm, trauma-informed environment where everyone is treated with dignity.
As a queer-run organization, we know how vital it is for LGBTQ+ folks—especially youth—to see themselves reflected in leadership and to have access to services that don’t shame or exclude them. Our pantry is a quiet act of resistance: against food insecurity, against invisibility, and against hate.
We are not a business or a church. We’re neighbors helping neighbors, and we proudly welcome all who share our values of empathy, mutual support, and safety. Whether you’re a single mom, a queer teen, a grandparent raising grandkids, or a transitional youth navigating survival—we are here for you.
Because no child should go hungry. And no one should feel unsafe seeking help.
